Our Doctors

Dr. John Graham
I have traveled far and wide over the course of my training and career. Originally from Toronto, Canada, I attended the University of Western in Ontario to obtain my Bachelor of Health Science degree. I attended veterinary school at Ross University, completing my clinical training at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After receiving my DVM, I completed a 1-year rotating internship in medicine and surgery at the VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona.
I began working at AZPetVet Dobson Ranch Animal Hospital for many years immediately following my internship training, and have been a part of Signal Butte Animal Hospital since it's inception. Outside of work, I enjoy just about everything this beautiful state has to offer but particularly mountain biking and hiking and try to maximize time spent with my wife, two sons and house full of animals.

Dr. Deanna Olson
I was raised in rural central Illinois, where my passion for animal medicine began. I attended Colorado State University and studied biochemistry. I continued my education at Colorado State University, earning my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree. During this time, I worked as a veterinary technician at a small animal clinic and had the opportunity to treat wildlife in Thailand. My particular veterinary interests are nutrition and cardiology.
While outside of work, I love to play frisbee with my Golden Retriever, Tulsa, and hang out with my cat, Oaklie. I spend my free time hiking, camping, reading, and relaxing outside. I am thrilled to have joined the AZPetVet family! Together, we can help our furry family members live their best lives. I am eager to meet you and your pet soon!

Dr. Meredith Garner
I grew up in Longwood, Florida, and attended the University of South Florida, graduating in 2015. My experience includes working as a Veterinary Technician while a senior in high school, as well as from 2015–2016 full time. I have also completed an internship at the Central Florida Zoo in their carnivore keeper department. My professional interests include neurology, behavior and preventative medicine. The best part of being a Veterinarian is the client-patient relationship. I want to be a great resource of information for my clients and help them make the best decisions for their pets.
At home I have a calico cat named Nebula who is just a treasure - she is chatty, loves to watch the neighborhood from the front window, and can't get enough of a laser pointer. I also have a Shiba Inu-red heeler mix named Trigger that is the sweetest animal in existence! I live in Phoenix with my boyfriend, who is an emergency department RN! In my free time, I love to do Pilates, take long walks with my dog, and occasionally go hiking and camping. I also love to head to the beach, try new restaurants, and go to the movies.

Dr. Leesa Rorstrom
Hello! I had a calling for veterinary medicine from a young age when my childhood cat was diagnosed with cancer. Muffin had surgery that saved her life – even if she ended up three-legged. I was born and raised in Central Florida and moved to Indiana in 2009. I graduated from Purdue University (Boiler UP!) in 2013 where I majored in Biochemistry. Prior to vet school, I worked in an oncology diagnostic laboratory at KU Medical Center in Kansas City. In 2021, I graduated from Oklahoma State University with my DVM degree. My interests include feline internal and geriatric medicine. I am AAFP certified cat friendly and enjoy implementing methods to reduce stress for our kitty patients.
Outside the practice, I enjoy photography, volunteering with TNR groups, cheering on Purdue Basketball and reading mystery novels.
